If you're BMI is borderline (around 40) do they ever cancel the surgery if you lose during the diet period. I'm concerned about that-seems odd never thought I would be worried about losing weight. I just want this surgery!!!

I agree. When they told me I needed to lose weight I was like... okayyyyy I'm here because I CAN'T Lose weight but ur tellin me I have to lose before I can qualify for surgery. Her answer was they only do it for our own safety. The lower bmi the safer an less complicated surgery.

It makes sense I guess. Jus hope I can lose all the weight to get my bmi to were they would like it to be.
