Indigo1991 1,612 Posted October 9, 2013 Saw dietician tonight. I have now lost 60lbs post op (sleeved 26 April), 76.5lbs including pre-op. Those are numbers I never thought I would or could achieve so- woooohoooooo!!! For a non-tall person, whose BMI is now just below 27 (started at 41) and whose health is changed beyond recognition, all I can say is thank you sleeve, I literally couldn't do it without you, lol!! You have changed my life forever. I have now revised my target weight, which gives me 14 lbs to go (don't know why ticker keeps showing 7lbs). Cosmetic surgeon says my boob job will take 5 of those lbs away.... It's all getting soooo close.... Am away back to my happy dance (which I can now do for way longer without losing my breath, ha ha ha!!!) Normal service resumed soon...... 5 Sleeved in Seattle, SuzyB, READY4CHANGE2013 and 2 others reacted to this

Indigo1991 1,612 Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) Thanks girls! I have failed to have any lasting control over my weight for the majority of my life, so I am thrilled and amazed on an hourly basis that this is working so well... Dietician read over from his notes of his first conversation with me back in March, how I felt and what my hopes were. I could cry for that sad girl (to be honest I am as I type this), because I didn't realise how bad I felt and how separated I had become from the real me. But she had the determination to go for this and I can never thank her enough. She's in here somewhere but I am going to let her go. The me of today can take it from here.
