light headedness after 5 months?

Recommended Posts

These past two days I have been incredibly ligh headed every time I stand up, bend down, or turn around fast and my ears have been ringing and feeling "stuffy" I have been trying to get a hold of my doctor cuz I just upped my zoloft (per his request) but I cant tell if its a med thing or if this is a post op thing. I had these same symptoms at some point post op when i wasnt on meds, but for the life of me and I can't remember what the issue was . Im good with Vitamins, protien and fluids and havent been congested ie anything. nothing is taking this away. Checked my sugars and bp when its at its worst and all perfect. Anyone else experience this??

I did when I was 6 weeks out and then again about 5 months out. Gatorade and Water might help. It sounds like you are dehydrated or have you started a new medication? I just saw your comment on Zoloft. How were you before you upped your meds? Best thing is to contact your doctor. Hang in there. :)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
