cdunn 45 Posted October 8, 2013 Submitting to insurance tomorrow and should be having surgery sometime around Thanksgiving I'm told. I'm pretty sure I won't be eating this year for the holidays. My doctor requires a 2 weeks liquid diet before surgery. Anyone else around this time?

McButterpants 2,846 Posted October 9, 2013 I think I'm going to stay home this year rather than going to family dinner - I will be two weeks out on Thanksgiving day.
cdunn 45 Posted October 9, 2013 I'm thinking my surgery will be Nov. 20 or Nov. 27th. My surgeon only does surgeries on Wednesdays so I may be in the hospital on this Thanksgiving.

dpcrafter 12 Posted October 10, 2013 Don't forget to freeze some turkey broth so you can "enjoy" it while on Clear Liquids
