Does pain equal a slip?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. I was filled two weeks ago (my fourth fill). I couldn't drink liquids so I went for a slight unfill two days later. On that day, Iwas able to drink a bottle of Water with no problems when I left the doctor's office. However, since then (October 17), it has been very difficult for me to eat anything without having pain. I slimmed yesterday for the first time. I called my doctor today because I was tired of the pain and worried that I'm not feeling better when trying to eat and he wants to see me tomorrow. He is sending me for an X-ray. Now, I'm so afraid of what could be wrong. :(

Or you need to take smaller bites, chew much more and take longer between bites?

You took the correct action to get in contact your surgeon.

To my knowledge there is only 1 physician who posts on this forum. And no diagnosis should ever be made without an exam and medical assessment by a qualified physician, which is what you physician indicated they want to do.

I hope that you feel better fast...

The experience I had with my slip was that I could actually eat a bit more. But I had horrible aid reflux all the time: at night and during the day. My pain was all reflux related. I had a complete unfill which fixed the slip. They also found some ulceration inside too- hence the pain.

Glad your dr is on top of it.

Thanks everyone. I am praying that there is no slip. I hope that all he needs to do is remove some liquid.< /p>

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Sometimes it's just something small that can be easily taken care of. Always contact doctor whenever in doubt!
