Tips for day before clear liquids?

Tomorrow is my surgery!!!!! Today I am supposed to be on Clear liquids only. I have already had some coffee and Water. I bought some apple juice, Jello and broth.

Any tips on how to get through the day or anything else I should buy?

make your own chicken broth, get some creamed Soups (lots) and protien drinks (EAS myoplex lite ) milk of magisum to get the gas out, heating pad. Good luck you'll be so glad you did this but rember you wont lose weight the first 6 weeks you need to heal and learn to eat and practice the rules...

Good luck!!!!!! Stock up on Protein Shakes cuz that is all I could keep down the first few days after surgery

Hi there, thanks for this -- I am taking notes for next week! And memorizing your last line above..... we all need to remember those weeks following the surgery are NOT about weight loss. That is happening now (pre-op diet) and will come later after things settle. I am okay with that but just reminding myself again now!
