I can't tell if I'm properly restricted

Recommended Posts

Ever since my fill (2.5cc) I really can't tell if I'm restricted.

On the one hand, if I eat too fast, don't chew enough, etc. it causes me PB problems that I didn't have before.

On the other hand, I still feel like I can eat too much. I just had a salad and ate more than I thought I could.

I'm so confused!

I never could figure out how much restriction was enough till I was overfilled one time. Then I knew how much I wanted to be filled. It is just a trial and error thing.

It really depends on whether you're losing weight - if you're losing then you're not eating too much, its that simple. Half a cup, a cup, it doesnt matter if you're not eating to bursting point and you're losing weight.

When you stop losing then you need to assess honestly why. Is it just too much volume as restriction is no longer adequate? Or is it also due to poor food choices, lack of exercise, etc? Are there things you can improve on?

Your body and your eating habits may need time for a good restriction. You just need to learn to eat small bites and chew well, it takes time. At my 4th fill I am still strugling to chew well. I feel quite restricted, that means, if I eat half a cup of solid food, chewed well, I feel satisfied, and it lasts minimum 3-4 hours.

Then I'm thinking I'm ok because I am satisfied for at least 3 hours, usually 3.5.

Thanks everyone.
