Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and go in for my lapband surgery in about 3 hours(ahh!!). I am getting scared about the actual surgery but I'm so happy to finally be getting this. I have been overweight my whole life and always struggled to lose. If anyone has any good advice or just some words of wisdom, I would greatly appreciate it. Take care!

To be honest, I'm struggling. My stomach feels upset and my chest hurts like something is stuck. I had to call the nurse practitioner last night and she called in something for nausea. But I'm just over-all miserable I hope it will pass.

Thank you so much. I can't wait to get this feeling out of my chest. The gas-x doesn't help and I just don't know what else to do :-/

I'm pre op but I think I have read on here warm fluids help sometimes?
