If you're talking about the air trapped after surgery, the only thing that can help get it out faster is walking. Walking helps your body reabsorb it faster.

You might find a heating pad helps with the discomfort, too.

Now it's in my left shoulder and up my neck

I am 4 weeks post op today and once in a while I still get it... Walk, then burp and gets better!

What they said! Walking and a heating pad...plus when I had my gallbladder surgery years ago, I found putting a pillow on the aching shoulder and laying my head over on it (applying pressure) was a great temporary relief. I'm so thankful I didn't have much gas pain with my band! I was dreading it!
