jenwebber 13 Posted October 20, 2013 I am 4 weeks out, and just started solid food. Yay for no more mushies!! I am looking for Breakfast ideas as I am getting tired of scrambled eggs. Here's the kicker though....I am only allowed Proteins. My doctor has a strict schedule to follow, and no veggies or carbs yet, and no dairy. What are some other things that you eat for breakfast?? line-dancer 810 Posted October 20, 2013 I have veggie burgers and I am a year out..the veggie burger keep me full for a very long time. If I dont watch the time I could forget to eat and then all of a sudden get straving and will grab to much and suffer.
Bandista 7,466 Posted October 20, 2013 I am pre-band but how about smoked salmon? It's soft, has all those good oils and full of Protein.< /p>
Bandista 7,466 Posted October 20, 2013 What about chicken stock with a spoonful of Miso in it -- an Asian breakfast.
blondegal_ 1,028 Posted October 20, 2013 Just remember you can eat whatever whenever. Just because it's in the morning that doesn't mean you HAVE to eat something that's considered a breakfast food. Just eat Protein as your doctor requires. 1 Veronica68 reacted to this
m.simpson88 56 Posted October 20, 2013 I have recently discovered jimmy dean turkey sausage it comes in crumbles, patties and links. They are all 100 calories per serving and 11-12 Protein and are delicious! You can also do boiled eggs with a little salt and pepper or even a scrambled egg with fat free cheese and a little salsa to give it flavor. I have heard about oatmeal with a scoop of Protein Powder added to it. I haven't tried the last one but with the cooler weather I may give it a whirl.
