Desperately Seeking Banding

Morning,

Browsing the interent for info on Banding. I've made up my mind that this is the best option for me and want to hear from others about their expericneces. I have yet to find negative experiences anyone have any. Seems too good to be true and want to be fully prepared with knowledge.

There is a lot of information on these boards. Do a lot of browsing and you'll learn almost anything you ever wanted to know.

There are some down sides to having a band - erosion, port infections, never again having some favorite foods/drinks (if they won't go down), but overall, the majoirty of the experiences you'll find are good ones.

That depends on a lot of factors...some people only have to wait a few weeks....some MONTHS. I am a MONTHS person...insurance is a big factor. If you're going through insurance, call them and ask them to send you the requirements for WLS.

I will start that today, I called and my doctor had to send in a predetermination letter. But it is COVERED. Baby step #1 I've go my surgerons appt for 4/13/07. Help me not to be so nervous about the process:faint: :help:
