for the last few months I have not been receiving notices when I post if someone responds so I never know if someone has responded, do you know why? I am not working from Iphone, its on my laptop or desktop.

I think they are having a lot of issues trying to update the system , some people can't blog ,upload pics or even edit on their profile I get notifications but I am not able to respond or even p m anyone so I hope they get it fixed soon I have been trying for a month and it will say I don't have permission for certain things I really hope they fix it soon,

I have not had any problems with my notifications even with the work that is being done on the site. Sounds like notifications may not be set correctly.

Pull down the little arrow next to your name on the top right and select My Settings then Notification Options on the left side column.

Check what you have set under Topics & Post

Donna, I've had the same issues for a year now. I tried the fixes that Jim suggested and they didn't work and no one ever responded to the contact form. Not saying you shouldn't try these options, but don't be surprised if no one responds.

I'm going to report your post as it seems like that's the only way anyone responds anymore? Good luck.

Your email was bouncing back to us for over 24 hours on August 2, 2012 (with the following error: 550 5.1.1 - Invalid mailbox: ddmartin@twc.com) Our systems automatically flagged your account and stopped sending. I've re-enabled your account now and you should be good to go.

I'm not sure how you were attempting to connect with us previously but we respond to every single person that reaches out to us.

Your email issue seems to be that on July 18, 2012 - 3:25 PM you (inadvertently) reported one of the emails we sent to you as spam. This automatically sets our system to stop sending you further email. I've removed your email from the spam list and you should be good to go now.

Everything besides forums is pretty much disabled until we launch the new version of our site. We hope to have it live by the end of this week.

Thanks Alex. Good to know about the spam guideline. I've become so used to not receiving these emails I'm going to go into notifications and change them so that I don't receive them. Otherwise my inbox is overloaded.

Alex I am frustrated with trying to find a place to rectify a situation that has taken me out of the loop from Bariatric Pal. I apparently/ inadvertently marked some phantom email as spam resulting in suspension of first hand board notifications. Can you lift the ban? I truly do not remember marking anything as spam.I enjoy the support I gain from BP and want to get the emails rolling once again. Please help.
