danyc 10 Posted October 21, 2013 As of rite now my list is short(I'm only down 30lb 2 1/2 mo post op), but I know it will get longer. I only get on the scale at my Dr. appointments and try to not use it as a measure of my success. My once tight jeans falling off Seeing my boobs when I look down instead of my stomach.lol Feeling hip bones, collar bones, and ribs Crossing my legs And although I don't yet see it I love when people tell me I look different and thinner 6 Jim1967, katie2244, Watchershrink83 and 3 others reacted to this

Sharpie 3,306 Posted October 22, 2013 Okay,, my list is getting longer but.. a few are: being able to ride my horses again.. , shopping non stop with my grandgirls.. they are always on a Marathon in the Mall. crossing my legs tying my shoes shaving my legs being able to clean my tubs without puffing and huffing. walking around Walmart or any other store with no problem.. Saw a man the other day who I hadn't seen in a year.. He did not recognize me at first.. then he stopped and said OMG you look GREAT... that was cool. My daughter tells me she is so proud of me and happy that I am healthier... Love this one... 5 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!, Jim1967, Debbie3sons and 2 others reacted to this

AZ Gary 149 Posted October 22, 2013 Well this past week I made my first air travel since being banded 4 months ago. I didn't feel wedged into the seat and didn't have the fear of having to ask for the extender belt. Overall it was as enjoyable as coach could be on a 5 hour trip despite being in a middle seat. 5 Debbie3sons, Jim1967, katie2244 and 2 others reacted to this

Oh that's a great one! I bet you were so happy!! I flew last December and was pleasantly shocked when I fit comfortably, too. I had avoided air travel for probably 18 years because I knew I didn't fit in the seats at all. Now, I am looking for excuses to fly 3 Debbie3sons, Heccat2 and kll724 reacted to this
GiGiRose 13 Posted October 23, 2013 I just went to Macy's and bought two knit t-shirts, size XL. I started in August 2011 wearing 4X or 5X dreaming of buying things at Macy's! One more- I was buying a wrist band at my Zumba class, when the lady selling it started to warn me that they didn't stretch much and were prone to snapping. Then, she looked at me and said, "Oh, you don't have to worry. You're smaller than me, and your wrists are tiny." I should have hugged her! She made my week! 4 blondegal_, kll724, DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! and 1 other reacted to this
blondegal_ 1,028 Posted October 24, 2013 Ok. Adding on... I'm stealing my teenage son's clothes. Yeah I'm a girl. But just this week I needed a hoodie one morning. Grabbed one of mine (3x) and it just swallowed me so I took one of his that he doesn't wear (L) and it's a bit big. And then we been cleaning out closets and such this week and he brings me a stack of athletic shorts. I've always worn men's athletic shorts (2X) as I find women's are not long enough nor heavy enough. And I fit into some mediums he no longer can wear. Yay for me as I don't need to go buy any workout shorts now. I was starting to look a bit scary when walking the dogs as all my workout/sweats were many sizes too large. 5 Watchershrink83, DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!, kll724 and 2 others reacted to this
dgoertz1 120 Posted October 24, 2013 Nsv are great! I love giving my mom my clothes. She was always smaller than me but at 81 she has gained a little Mainly because of breast cancer and lympodema in her arm. she loves the hand me downs! 5 Debbie3sons, jfc193, kll724 and 2 others reacted to this
