jdewv 3 Posted October 11, 2013 I'm two and half weeks post op. I have nothing in my band but when I eat a little to much I feel it stuck in my chest area. Is there restriction with just the empty band?
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted October 11, 2013 There can be, yes. It all depends on your anatomy and band size. It's rare but some people never need a fill.
TheDuchess 106 Posted October 11, 2013 Are you on the Mush phase? If you are make sure to chew chew chew! Also, I just had to go to the doctor for a 'lump in my throat' and she told me that after a surgery like this our esophagus can begin acting up and spasming - which could explain the stuck feeling you may be having. As for restriction without fills - I think that would be heavenly! 1 2muchfun reacted to this
Sojourner 2,446 Posted October 11, 2013 I'm two and half weeks post op. I have nothing in my band but when I eat a little to much I feel it stuck in my chest area. Is there restriction with just the empty band? My band is totally empty of all Fluid, and I have a considerable amount of restriction. I am almost in the elusive "green zone" with no Fluid. When I did have fluid in my band, it was too tight. Everyone is an individual, and no two people have identical experiences on their weight loss journey. 2 Maddysgram and 2muchfun reacted to this
