I have never liked CVS they were extremely slow getting RX's filled, charged more than Walgreens or Publix. I get mine filled @ PUblix while I shop they are ready in 30 min tops.. Walgreen's has better prices on things too than CVS.. now that I know they are onboard with Obamacare I will continue to boycott them..

I stopped using our local CVS a couple years ago. It took them hours to fill a prescription and the staff were a bunch of morons who acted like doing their job was a major inconvenience, Not to mention their store card and supposed "extra bucks" and discounts were HUGE rip off, if not bait and switch.

I once had a coupon (printed on their receipt) for 20% next purchase. So, I purposely loaded my cart with everything I needed to get most out of it. WRONG! I think maybe 3 of the 12 things in my cart "qualified" for the discount. They excluded certain brands, things already on sale, and even things under a certain price. I was so pissed off and I just walked away, leaving everything on the counter, and never went back again.

WellWellw  Well let's just get it straight. Obamacare was Romneycare and passed by the congress with more republican votes when it was **** Mitt Romneys idea. For those who think that people should not have insurance then something is wrong. There is absolutely nothing wrong with people being able to purchase health insurance because frankly I am tired of my home taxes going to local hospitals to pay for these damn people who need their drugs and take up valuable beds in the ER and never pay their bill. Say what you want but if you didn't have health insurance you would be glad to have it. Most people do not research they only talk from blogs they have read. Go to the government website and see what it offers. I am sure if your children or parents had no insurance you would be glad they could get it.

Hahaha......LOVE that you left everything on the counter. I hate that store, and haven't filled a prescription there in over two years. They are total idiots, and they made more mistakes than not. Sounds like it doesn't matter what state you live in......they suck, period.

I'm with Sharpie.... I now have all prescriptions filled at Vons Market where I buy groceries, and I kill two birds with one stone. The pharmacy is small; they know me, they get the prescriptions right, and they are nice. I also get my annual flu shot there.

nobody wants to deny people health care.. it is the way this will be implemented that is wrong.. forcing people to purchase something is socialism... I don't care what anyone tells you this is not about anything but pure control and greed from insurance companies.. you will see when people are paying twice as much as they were (like me )and getting sub standard care... I have read most of the bill.. it's frightening.. my husband had cancer last year thank God he was able to get treatment.. but the new norm will be to deny him due to his age so that is a fact.. if it is run by the govt as well as the post office or theVA we are all screwed...

as far as comparing to Romney Care.. Romneycare was a State program voted on by the State not a National takeover of healthcare.. most people in MA like it.. however, Obamacare is far more dangerous than Romneycare ever thought about being.. read both bills before making comparisons..

While there are plenty of reasons to not like the Affordable Care Act; i.e. it does not go nearly far enough in offering universal health care coverage to everyone, it continues to reward insurance corporations by giving them more business, and a single-payer, government sponsored health system would have been less expensive and better run in the long run...it is still better than what we have had previously.

I find it extremely sad that so many people have opted to hate something they have not really bothered to research simply because they hate the current president. (as evidenced by renaming the ACA "Obamacare" and throwing it around derisively, as though it were a plate of feces)

I don't know anything about CVS, but it seems to me that if they are "Opting in" on the ACA, that simply means they will accept new insurers into their programs...or, more realistically; they are going to be an accepted pharmacy in the insurance plans offered in the areas they have stores. How does that change their service to anyone?

A lot of people in this country are still drinking the Kool-Aid.

It has nothing about wanting to deny anyone healthcare- everyone most certainly deserves quality medical care.

It's about the government taking away our healthcare choices, cutting Medicare like crazy to fund it, leaving a big healthcare gap for those who aren't poor enough for Medicaid but don't make enough for the Obamacare tax incentive, and the mere thought of the government having the final say on who gets what care and who is denied based on statistics.

Btw, the government website is nothing but propaganda BS and no more reliable than blogs

You want actual facts? Read the entire 1000+ page Healthcare Bill. I did and that's how I know Obamacare is cr@p.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
