I am so glad that I found this website. You all are great. I am looking for a doctor in San Antonio or Corpus Christi. Has anyone heard of Dr. Patel? Any advice will be appreciated.

I haven't really heard anything about Dr. Patel, but I believe that he works with Dr. Cavazos. A friend of mine had the procedure done and she's lost 92 lbs since the end of July. She's really happy with it and I'm probably going to see him about a consult.

When I was first considering weight loss surgery, Dr. Patel was highly recommended to me as someone who does a lot of lap-bands, which is a major consideration when choosing a surgeon. That is the extent of my knowledge.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
