faith 4 Posted July 19, 2013 lol you'll be fine and I think your positive energy and excitement for losing the weight will make it even more easier. You won't be having a cup of anything anytime soon. They will provide a plate with Protein and clear soon and give you tiny cups to measure everything you eat. It's in the MLs. Also the first week for some isn't the easiest but its also true what everyone here says. It does get better and then you'll have that tea )! How long do you get to stay there after your surgery? cazza 7 Posted July 25, 2013 Helloooooooo I did it! Was scary especially being in Prague and not much English. At times it was overwhelming and I broke down once when this elderly dr wanted to do an endoscopy without sedation. Well he didn't seem to understand that huge hose thing was not going to fit down my throat. Lets just say he soon gave up and refused to speak only to say go!! Ops!! Also I was taken straight into the operating theatre and prepped in there I was trussed up and no one spoke English until the anethathist decided to show up!!! This is just not what they do in the UK so i was frightened but decided at this point to act like a mute!! I have to say obv don't rem much about the first day and night but really the only pain was my point of entry where my drain was. Now we are day 3 and I am just dandy I can drink this lemon tea they got some clear broth then some baby food fruit then some spinach Soup which had a thicker consistency. I even had had a few sips of coffee. I fly back to UK tomorrow that makes 5 days in hospital then jersey Channel Islands back to my family Sunday. If I can help or give advice to anyone regarding emotions ect please post me. Equally if anyone has any advice I would so appreciate it. Lots of love
