Bos123 221 Posted June 10, 2013 I just had to chime in and say I am now in the 150's! I haven't been here in over 15 years and I feel great! 11 pds away from my drs goal.. I can't believe it. I've had the odd struggle and a set back here and there, but this is definitely possible. So If you have a bad day, dust yourself off, get back up and keep going! 3 bernie1958, Alex Brecher and Muñekita reacted to this

Bos123 221 Posted June 11, 2013 Congratulations 123... so exciting to hear. Do you work out alot. Well I joined a cardio class two times a week and I try to do 1/2 hr at my house once a week. Now that its summer I try to do something with the kids once a week too... Like go for a bike ride or swimming. I am not hard core by any means but I am finally to a point where I look forward to doing these things as opposed to dreading them! How are you guys doing? 1 Alex Brecher reacted to this

I can honestly say the plication is a great tool but its all about what you eat!! I eat mostly protine and somewhat am addited to it!! and there were many times when my brain really wanted to over eat and I had to walk away but I did it very happily knowing this is working!! Nothing at all taste better than this!! 3 Bos123, Alex Brecher and bernie1958 reacted to this

Muñekita 36 Posted June 13, 2013 Got it done oct 19 2012 So about 8 months ago. When did u loose more weight at the begining of surgery, more of in the middle of your journey, or towards the end( this last few months)? 1 Alex Brecher reacted to this

Bos123 221 Posted June 14, 2013 I def lost more weight in the beginning. Lost more inches than weight in the middle. Then as you get more active I find that I am still loosing more inches than weight on the scale because I am toning and muscle weighs more than fat. Some days I would get frustrated but in the beginning my skin was saggy and loose and now it's way better. So it's important to not just go by the numbers on the scale! 2 bernie1958 and Northfilly reacted to this

Same thing here lost a lot in the beginning now I just lost 8 lbs in 6 weeks I had to add excercise to do it but very happy were I am also after the first 3 months I lost a lot of hair I was so scared but now I think my body has adjusted and hair is growing back and not falling out in large amounts so know if this happens it will not last!!
