Bos123 221 Posted May 23, 2013 Do the sleevers..and bypassers loose more weight than the plicaters? I think the % is higher initially depending on what you have to loose. As ours is higher than Lapbanders. But a lot of it falls back on the persons willingness to stick to plan too...

Tc44055 12 Posted May 29, 2013 I went in today for my month check up actually it is 5 weeks and he called me his special patient. .. because of my pain tolerance. .. he assured me my surgery was flawless...and it is just a super tight stitch. He said he is glad he did not do a bypass on me (I was thinking in my head ..dude that was never an option) he also said I was doing better than his bypass patients regarding weight loss. I am down about 20 pounds since surgery date and 31 since I started this entire process. I am not sure if I am on schedule. Am I really gonna lose 20 a month? I am finally almost at 3 bottled waters. I am working hard on the Protein. . Eating tuna yogurt eggs and drinking slim fast high protein. I have had a couple Smart Ones.. I can only get about half of it down. Oh I am trying to eat a Protein Bar now... (not feeling it) I do find that i am getting hungry every 2/3 hours and that kinda freaks me out.I am feeling better. .everyday... I finally went on a walk a few blocks and back.. and I feel good ..tired but good. Sorry I am rambling.

I lost 20 that first month too then 20 more basically over the next four months lol.. 15 more to go to goal! It's slow but ill take it. I also feel way stronger as I've been working out a lot the last two months. So although the scale is slow my body had changed so much... It's great;)
