anonemouse 1 Posted March 6, 2007 You'd still have the same people making the decisions. Very true. I'd still love to think that Bush is an okay guy that is being advised by people that are at the bottom of the barrel, in terms of honesty and humanity, but more and more I am coming to the realization that the guy's just a genuinely nasty person. I can not believe that he just happened to get a bad lot. Maybe if BuSh had chosen less advisors from PNAC, we would not have invaded Iraq.
BJean 16 Posted March 6, 2007 *Hmmm. Advisors? Maybe we need to think bigger - as in those who run the Republican party.
gadgetlady 4 Posted March 6, 2007 Decoding the Dead Sea Scrolls will be on next Sunday as well. LOL!!! Oh, wait. Are you serious? I wouldn't put anything past the Discovery Channel.
Tired_Old_Man 1 Posted March 6, 2007 Isn't that a repeat, where they try to show that the dead sea scrolls prophesized everything from 911 to Adolph Hitler?
Carlene 12 Posted March 6, 2007 To be honest, I'd be willing to pit his aptitude for presidency against the Shrub. He could hardly be worse. Jesse Ventura could be his VP. Or that Dog guy - the bounty hunter. I can just see him and his wife at the White House. OMG!

BJean 16 Posted March 6, 2007 But just think how nice it would be to have Maria Shriver in the White House. :help: Not that she's a bad person, mind you, but what a team! :rolleyes

It could be that Maria Shriver is indoctrinating him into humanity.
BJean 16 Posted March 6, 2007 She's been trying for years to bring him down to earth. But she also has the job of boosting his ego. Pretty tricky. But then politics is a tricky business, like show business. I sometimes think they both have decent hearts and then I think.... naaah. Probably not. After all, they like the limelight. That's pretty telling, doncha think?
BJean 16 Posted March 6, 2007 What do you think of Nancy Pelosi? I can't believe that some Republicans have said such bad stuff about her. I hope she continues her classy act and doesn't stoop to their level.

Carlene 12 Posted March 6, 2007 Arnold has been softening as of late. It could be that Maria Shriver is indoctrinating him into humanity. I have been noticing the same thing, and drawn the same conclusion. Many a man has been converted by a righteous (and persistant) wife. She's been trying for years to bring him down to earth. But she also has the job of boosting his ego. Pretty tricky. But then politics is a tricky business, like show business. I sometimes think they both have decent hearts and then I think.... naaah. Probably not. After all, they like the limelight. That's pretty telling, doncha think? I actually think they are a great example of how people can get along if they want to, in spite of political differences. Or religious difference. Or any differences, for that matter. He was the head of the Bill Clinton campaign and she headed the George HW Bush campaign.:croc: I wonder what they talk about over dinner? :violin::usa2:
