Next week I will have my Plication Surgery with Dr. Fouad AlAhdab (Syrian doctor working in Riyadh), I didn't go for any diet pre-surgery, is it must to have the diet before I do the surgery next week

Hi I'm scheduled Friday oct 19 I have no per surgury diet .....I think it depends on your bmi

I had the plication done on the 16th of July. Dr. Ponce in Chattanooga TN did the surgery and he had me on Liquid Protein for 2 weeks prior to the surgery in order to shrink my liver as much as possible. He mentioned that it gave him more room to work. I assume that it is your surgeons preference!
