FatToPhat 83 Posted April 12, 2012 Ty for this thread since there seems to be no one in here, I go to the other sleeve forum, n yea, they seem to think their surgery is the best, and ours to many complications, one of the threads did mention the sutures could scrape And cause infection. .. Anybody have this prob,,, I am looking forward to my date, I still feel this is the best for me,, I always thought it was strange that everyone else thinks the plication has too many complications. I CHOSE the plication because my research showed it had the LEAST complications of all the weight loss surgeries!

clovers 15 Posted April 24, 2012 Hiya all. I'd like to chat too with people who have had this surgery. I had sleeve plication last September and things seem to be going pretty well though I'd really like to be losing faster but That requires that I eat less Every day is a new start. I'm clovers@aol.com.
Ihave6kids 29 Posted April 25, 2012 I also had the plication in July of 2010. Coming up on 2 years now. I got down to 10 lbs away from my goal. Went up a couple and stay between 160-163. (My ultimate goal is 150.) It takes constant daily work to keep this weight off. I can never let my guard down. Don't go into this surgery thinking once you have the weight off its easy then. It is very difficult to stay on track. Don't get me wrong, I am very very glad I had the surgery and would do it a hundred times over. It just takes alot of work. Learn good new eating habits while you are losing. When you are maintaining those habits will be in place. 1 FatToPhat reacted to this
