My doctor told me to not bend over for at least 4 weeks to give the incisions time to heal. All docs are different but you may want to check with yours about it.

i'm not supposed to use my tummy muscles as much as possible, but it isn't realistic to not use them at all - i have to put on shoes, pick stuff up (light items), put the harness on the dog, pick up Shampoo in the shower. i'm healing exceptionally well and my incisions are still superglued shut.

Yeah, it is difficult to not bend over at all. I just got hubby to do all the bending over tasks such as shoes and socks. :heh: He was a good sport!
