attractpositive 12 Posted September 18, 2013 I'm so excited. Doc says I can do any exercise now. I don't want to do anything too strenuous in the beginning. I want to gradually build myself up. Any suggestions for some good workouts that incorporate cardio and weights but isn't to hard? I figure I would start off with 30 min a day and build up to an hour. attractpositive 12 Posted September 18, 2013 To add... I have worked out lots before.... Just wondering what you all are doing besides walking.... I was thinking maybe turbo jam from beach body or possibly insanity because you can go at your own pace.... And then incorporate some weights or resistance bands later on... Lafalot 11 Posted September 18, 2013 I joined a health club with Water aerobics and go religiously. I can manage 1 hr. of water aeorbics but would not make it through 1 hour of boucing on a gym floor. As I loose the pounds I will progress to the floor exercises. 1 attractpositive reacted to this

Lafalot 11 Posted October 7, 2013 It has helped my joint flexibility and is building my strength and endurance. And I know it launches my metabolism for the day. If you find a YWCA or health club with Water aerobic classes, may they will offer a trial week so you can attend class a few times to see how it feels for you. shawnahall78 1 Posted October 21, 2013 . So Water aerobics does help? I can't do regular exercises because my hips hurt a lot. Water aerobics takes the pressure off your joints if you can find a spot in the pool where thou are chest deep in water during your work out you are between %85-90 weightless. Less weight less pursue on the joints its a great way to exercise for people with mobility or joint problems. And always go at your pace no matter how fast or slow the instructor or class is going. 1 gzhottie reacted to this
