tpimpette1 8 Posted September 14, 2013 Im not really sure what it feels like or how to know if you can't digest something? Are they're certain foods any of you have a hard time digesting?
pianogal7733 33 Posted September 15, 2013 You will know if you cannot digest something because you will vomit and your belly will hurt and sometimes you may hurt across your chest! I personally cannot digest hamburger patties to this day and I'm 2 years post op. Also anything soft and doughy comes right back up. You will discover foods that work well and foods that you will need to stay away from. It's a process to find what works and what doesn't. Best of luck to you! lovingme4me 32 Posted September 17, 2013 For me I ate some chicken today that was kinda dry and it didn't hurt going down, but when I tried to drink some Water 30 minutes later the chicken and water came back up. It will find a way out if it can't go down. My surgery was 9/4/13.

ArmyOfMe 82 Posted September 21, 2013 Corn. We don't have the enzymes to break it down so it comes out in the same shape it went in. =))
