M.A. Cruz 15 Posted September 14, 2013 I've read in numerous places people cooking with Protein powders (flavored & unflavored). I've also read that cooking protein at high temp will destroy the protein. So you're basically wasting the powder and its doing nothing for you. Any input on this? None of the Protein Powder can withstand temperatures of 140 degrees they will clump. So it is simpler to mix it in something lukewarm or cold. So I make shakes, smoothies, use flavored in some of my crystal lite drinks, tried in Jello, okay but not on my favorite list. Eventually you'll be getting your protein through regular food sources. But cooking with it is not recommended. Also mix in sf pudding instant is another source.
