I know when major stress happens, like a death, I get a awful feeling in the pit of my stomach. My question is after surgery is it still there? I haven't had surgery yet and this crossed my mind

I am only a week after surgery but my stomach feels pretty much the same. I have to remind myself it so much smaller LOL
