Jennifer 0 Posted February 25, 2007 As I am very excited and nervous to get this surgery done, I have a nagging thought at the back of my mind. food has been my constant companion over the years and I kinda feel like my "best friend" will be dying. I will no longer be able to find comfort in food...believe me this is exactly what I want, nonetheless it still feels a little odd. Has anyone else out there dealt with these feelings? And how did you get thru? What did you find to take the place of eating when you are happy, sad, depressed, etc? Any ideas that can help would be greatly appreciated!!
