deaddemmama 474 Posted September 11, 2013 I've recently become interested in juicing. I know we don't get the Fiber when we juice, but I feel like I need the nutrients from real food, not just Vitamins. Thoughts anyone?

Cant eat a lot of those, either. There are great recipes out there that include superfoods like kale, beet, carrot, and Tomato. I guess I'll call my nut. TX Patty 12 Posted September 11, 2013 Because I couldn't even stomach the Vitamins my doc suggested Ensure Clear. They have a blueberry pomegranate that I've been able to choke down half a 10oz bottle a day. Tons of Proteins and vitamins. It made me feel so much better. Then the fiber will still be there.
4myplezier 0 Posted September 19, 2013 Hi there. Checking in from the Netherlands. Had my GBP a week ago and am working my way up to halfliquid and then on to 'regular' food. I make smoothies like: banana with spinach (one of those frozen), sesame seeds and some skim yoghurt. Or mixed unsweetened frozen fruit with or without the spinach, yoghurt and some muesli. All of this in the blender and tadaaaa. Be careful not to use too much ingredients, or share a healthy snack with family members. Throwing away is such a waste. Last night I made a mix of potatoes and carrots and mashed it to a smoooooth bite. About 2 tablespoons full. It went down really well. Well, so far my first contribution here. Hope to be back often and to hear from people here. On my way to a healthier, lighter life. Toodels, Milu
