Kcarr1120 15 Posted September 2, 2013 I am two weeks post op today. I have lost a total of 14 lb, but that was as of last wed., so I have stayed the same for 5 days! How is this possible when I am eating well under 1000 calories a day. I am getting right around 60 g of Protein per day. I have not been exercising yet though.....is this what a stall is?? I am just so impatient, and now I think I am never gonna get 100+ lb off!

Monica74 38 Posted September 3, 2013 Girly I stalled for 2 weeks - my surgeon said I wasn't getting enough Water in. So, I can tell you as soon as I started drinking 60+ ounces of water everyday the stall ended. I've lost a pound a day for the last two weeks. Keep up the hard work - everyone stalls throughout the journey so just keep on keeping on knowing you will get there when you get there
DLCoggin 1,788 Posted September 4, 2013 There is no schedule for stalls and no substitute for patience. Patience is not only a virtue, it's an absolute necessity in the weight loss journey. Your goal is physical change but your challenge is mental discipline. Stay positive. Stay patient. Stay focused. Follow the protocol as closely to the letter as you possibly can. You will lose weight. The laws of science and the universe cannot be denied. But they also cannot be rushed. Allow your body to find its own way in its own time. You're going to hear it again and again - everyone is different. But one thing never changes - you're gonna love the new you!! 3 melhealthy, babs963 and kristy3k reacted to this

I think I asked the same question shortly after my surgery. Patience - everyone is different - follow the plan! Success will follow! By the way, I'm six months post op an it took me about 5 months to have patience - so glad I found it!
