bloreorbust 286 Posted April 10, 2014 I was doing the same thing and i tried a few thing and didnt make me sick but were bad but im back on track still losing slow I'm wondering if this is probably the normal faltering period. Where we figure out we can eat some things we shouldn't and a little bit of old habit comes back. Gotta keep on fighting and changing. I know I have to keep reminding myself I didn't do this surgery to only lose half my weight. I want the whole shebang gone. You must be getting close to being out of the 3s, too? Or did you make it?! Hope you are doing well. Take care of yourself. 1 kparadisek reacted to this

I have about 15 more pounds to go and I'll be there with you! What do your meals look like? How about your excercise?
kparadisek 115 Posted April 11, 2014 Can I just say how happy I am for restriction? I've been struggling lately and sometimes eating things I would be better to leave alone (carbs), but thankfully I can never eat more than a few bites. I know I have to work on my mind to get back on track, but I am so happy that restriction is keeping me from completely sabotaging myself. Now to snap out of this funk! I feel you on this. Head hunger and munchies are the worst. Cheers to getting our brains back on track!!! We can do this!

How about your excercise? to be honest, my diet is crap. lol my dr isnt really strict on what I can have or not. Long as I do it in portions. I did have the DS and not the RNY so my body does work differently than the RNY. Now depending on hat I eat I can only eat very little or I feel like I eat like a cow lol. I can eat 8oz of Soup but only like 2 oz of chicken. My exercise isn't much. I go dancing every Friday night and I run the tread mill for 30 mins once a week plus do this cool machine at gym for 15mins once a week. I'm kinda lazy not gna lie. It feels like it's taken forever to get here but only 23lbs till my goal. Edited April 11, 2014 by misswifey21

Lovelycurves 94 Posted April 12, 2014 Thx for the correction... You know I meant onederland which will be wonderful! Lol! You are my inspiration! How does skinny feel? I know it looks good on youdde0a tbh I don't feel skinny and believe me I traded in one insecurity for another :-( now instead of fat filled skin it's saggy hanging excess skin lol I feel like I don't fit I to anything but I do lol I just am a little insecure will. My bf has been helping me through it along with family and friends but can't help but feel fat still :-/

My bf has been helping me through it along with family and friends but can't help but feel fat still :-/ I think this is why the doctors encourage us to see a therapist post op. We won't see the direct changes right away and feel no different than before. I think I look great with clothes on. Off? Not so much. But my fiancé says I look great in and out of them. I guess we're just very self conscious and super critical of our bodies and what they "should" look like versus what they actually look like. I take it one day at a time. Some days I see the change and I'm thrilled, others I look in the mirror and say I don't see any change. But I know the 127lbs is what changed and have to push myself to be happy with my body. I am .2 lbs away from onederland and it has been taunting me for a couple weeks now lol

U do look good and I'm not going to take back the skinny comment because it's true☺️!

I am .2 lbs away from onederland and it has been taunting me for a couple weeks now lol I feel as you do . In clothes I feel like I look good sometimes I feel pretty sexy in clothes... Then when the clothes come off .... EWWWW. I always tell my bf that it's false advertisement... He is so compassionate. He tell me im beautiful and that it's not false advertisement because he loves me. But I just feel so disgusting when my clothes come off :-( I should see a therapist but my dr said that it's just best to get on pills... Which I'm like nah that's not what I want. It's just my mind. You'll get there tho in ONEDERLAND . It took me FOREVER to get below 200. Like was a 4 wk stall then boom in the 190s. I'm at 193 today so I'm only 23 lbs from my goal for my 1yr surgiversary but hopefully by 18mon post op I'll be in the 140s to 150 max. Somedays I feel great about myself some days I don't. It's hard. You look AMAZING btw :-) 2 kparadisek and kloveburd reacted to this
