bloreorbust 286 Posted September 1, 2013 I also had surgery August 26th. Lot's of pain, but no complications so I can't complain. "Eating" and fluids are going great. Although I do of course have to force myself to eat and time things out so I get it all in throughout the day. Yesterday I just gave up by evening because I got sick of eating. Imagine that lol. Pushing myself to walk a little more each day. I try to walk a couple times at least. Grocery shopping, walking around my apartments. As for weight loss: Start of Weight Loss: 406 Day of Surgery: 376 Two Days after Surgery: 395 Two Days after being home: 381 This morning: 370 It's incredible to see how far I can come just a week after surgery. Can't wait to see what comes next! 1 anniesmommy reacted to this

Michele1az 1 Posted September 2, 2013 Hi! I have been having a really uncomfortable pain in my right side (no incisions). The pain goes vertically and feels like a pulled muscle, but after having a bmovement I feel a little better. Hard to believe it is Constipation. kloveburd 132 Posted September 3, 2013 Hey all! I'm 4 weeks out now and made a pizza today and it was delicious. Whole wheat tortilla, ricotta cheese, pizza sauce, mushrooms, pepperoni and shredded cheese. Omg. I was in heaven.

steph-rny 9 Posted September 3, 2013 Hi. My surgery was Aug 19. It went well. My only problem so far is getting enough Protein. After drinking it for 3 wks I've started gagging on it & can't force it down. The only way I can do it is freeze it like a fudgecicle. I've been pretty good about taking Multivitamins, liquid Calcium and getting enough Clear liquids. Pre liquid diet weight 387lbs Surgery weight 375lbs Current weight 355lbs I have a follow-up meeting with my doc & nutritionist on Wed where I hope to get permission to drive & start soft foods. I did nibble on some cheese last night & it went well in my pouch. I can't wait for cottage cheese lol

Each bottle is 40g of Protein. I drink half a bottle earlier in the day then the other half in the evening. They also sell the powder to mix with Water. At GNC they are about $5 a bottle. MomOf2Boys13 5 Posted September 3, 2013 I couldn't stomach the Isopure drinks. I bought one of each & couldn't keep down one. I'm also having a hard time drinking/eating crushed pill mixtures. My stomach hurts so bad on the upper left side I'm terrified of throwing up.
