TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted August 31, 2013 Me!!! I need a total body make over. Apron belly bat wings saggy boobs butt thigh. Had it all plan out for June 2014 but due to marriage issues. Moving out is top priority. Surgery is left for maybe 2015/2016 before I'm 40 hopefully
mamafine23 101 Posted August 31, 2013 I lost 100lbs in 5 months and everything saggy and revolting ...hoping to get the extra skin removed and boob lift next year...priority is staying healthy and getting to my goal weight if 168...I'm at 185.
libra_lisa 136 Posted August 31, 2013 Im 8 months out and 93 pounds down...my biggest issue are my boobs...they are flat as pancakes and don't let me bend over they're like saggy vertical pancakes! I don't feel sexy whatsoever (thank God for push ups) ...now here is where I might sound crazy but I remember wishing I had saggy skin because at least I would have some indication that I'm losing weight...for the longest of time I couldn't see that I was...now I do but I still feel fat...I hate going shopping...I get embarrassed when I'm complimented it's just so weird...this surgery affected me more mentally than physically
kristy3k 1,133 Posted August 31, 2013 I have always said the mental part is the hardest part. Some days I feel really pretty and then I look real close and see all those flaws and have a breakdown. But I can run jump and play like no other and that is a really good feeling date of surgery 02/21/12 surgery weight 340 lbs. current weight 146 lbs 1 babs963 reacted to this
MCE33 17 Posted August 31, 2013 Oh this post makes me so sad I am only a week out and am so scared about the skin and stuff. But my friend said that he still thinks it was worth it - just wears Spanx all the time. I suggested that we start a line of post baraiatric surgery lingere that is SPANX like. 2 WildGrits and myjoshcait reacted to this
zuzuspetals 78 Posted August 31, 2013 Potentially, I have 60 more lbs to lose and I can see sags and flaps already. So the first new things I've purchased are underwear and spanx-like garments. It helps a lot at this point. I'm hoping it will continue. I LOVE my new and changing body and wouldn't go back to that unhealthy, sweaty, out of breath, bloated, UNHAPPY woman for anything. Don't be discouraged! 3 melhealthy, WildGrits and celebrate*me reacted to this

LeticiaHuggins 177 Posted September 1, 2013 Besides my breast deflated from a 44DD to a 33B I'm actually okay. My skin is a little loose between my thighs but I notice the more I focus on building muscle the better it gets. Also i take two showers a day and spend about 15 minutes lotioning my skin and found its helped tremendously. J still have an apron tummy but with my panty Spanx I look sexy in my size 9 skinny jeans. ~Leticia **HW: 259**PreOp: 216**SURG: 3/21/13 **Discharged @: 221** 5 months post op. I prefer loose skin to the woman I was, too. Neither may be particularly sexy but the smaller one feels better and is living life! To all you young people out there: I'm 53 and been married for 32 years. But I understand how a younger person would want to have everything perfect. Don't be discouraged - lose weight and get healthy. Exercise to keep things toned. And if you still want to get things fixed you can. Sometimes insurance will help. But first things first! Lose the weight! Feel good, be happy. Be proud of your accomplishments - they're not easy! And enjoy your youth! 3 zuzuspetals, melhealthy and WildGrits reacted to this
kristy3k 1,133 Posted September 1, 2013 That's a lot of weight and you look great! Any advice on getting the weight off quicker? How often did u exercise? What foods did you frequent? Thanks girl. I started off walking really slow. Did a half a mile then a mile... Now up to four miles in the evening and jog 2 miles in the morning. Tried lifting weights and just don't have the passion for it.. Go to for food. In the beginning it was rotisserie chicken because it was so moist. Now I eat every 3 hours. Baby bel lights. Light and fit Greek yogurt I still do a Protein shake in the morning.. Just don't like food in the tummy that early and just mainly Protein it up date of surgery 02/21/12 surgery weight 340 lbs. current weight 146 lbs 1 Daly444 reacted to this
bakawaka 108 Posted September 1, 2013 Here is another perspective: we are all going to age and no matter how thin or fat we might be, the skin is going to sag. I am trying to be at peace with it. 1 melhealthy reacted to this
chantdes67 9 Posted September 1, 2013 I was 395 & very embarrassed to admit it even now I'm at 320 now had rny on July 9th lost about 40 to 45 lbs prior to surgery & have a long way to go but saggy boobs & skin is a biggy but the way I look at it is saggy skin weighs less than fat right? So oh well I will take it clothes covers it all up ????????????
JustJenn 542 Posted September 1, 2013 I have an apron and bat wings and I cringe at the sight of a full length mirror. But on some occasions (full clothed of course) I think I am cute and have covered my skin well. It's a mind game but still feels better than that extra 160 I was carrying around daily. Take the bad with the good 3 babs963, melhealthy and kristy3k reacted to this
