Hi I did the same thing and I did not have any problem. I was on stage 2 when I started my scramble eggs. I have had it several time and if I try to eat it now I gag. I have stopped the checking broth and Soup. All I am eating is Muscle Milk and Water. I don't like yogurt, cottage cheese, pudding, tired of Jello, and don't like the after tase when I trying to eat a sugar free ice pop.

Hi! I start purée tomorrow and was wondering If I can just coo scrambled eggs normally or do they have to be super loose? I really don't like them too loose. I've followed everything so far so I don't want to hurt my pouch. Also want to put a little ketchup on it, is that ok? Thanks!

When i ate scrambled eggs i just did them regular, even put a little cheese on it and i used ketchup, but only take a couple buts then wait to see how your pouch handles it

If your just starting puréed foods I wouldn't eat eggs yet, not matter how they are done, your doctors odder s are there for a reason, your insides are still healing and solid foods will put unnecessary pressure on your insides. Remember this is the rest of your life not a race. :). Have fun

Funny how each doctor is different. In the meantime very very very slow and chew lots. If you have any difficulty STOP. I would suggest 2mins between each mouthful, as it takes a while to get a reaction and or the full feeling after swallowing a mouthful, as the last one could still be going down.

It is odd how each dr. is different.

But I agree with you.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
