cherieblake 0 Posted August 26, 2013 Do you think it's normal or is it pain that shouldn't be?
mrs.katie 27 Posted August 26, 2013 I think it's normal. I just had my guts rerouted last week so things are going to feel off for a bit. I can't do 2 oz at a time. When was your surgery? Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

mrs.katie 27 Posted August 26, 2013 Mine was Thursday too. Right now I can hold 2 oz. of liquids or 1.5 oz. of pudding or Jello. I can't imagine trying to push for 3 oz. at this point. I usually drink 4 oz. over an hour or drink 2 and eat 1.5. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
cherieblake 0 Posted August 26, 2013 Wow you are eating I'm only having liquids with 9 oz of Protein Drink throughout the day
steph-rny 9 Posted August 26, 2013 For my post op diet I'm allowed 6-8 servings Protein shake per day, each is 120ml over 2 hrs, filling in the time with crystal lite, Jello, broth, tea, coffee. On Sept 4 I can ask about adding soft foods. SD aug 19 SW

cherieblake 0 Posted August 26, 2013 Steph-rny My pouch definitely could not handle that amount four days post-op. I'm struggling with 2-3oz now per hour BUT everyone is different! I get chest pains and feel like I can't take a deep breath if I drink to much.
cherieblake 0 Posted August 26, 2013 I didn't feel any weird sensation but I felt full so quickly. I feel full so quickly also, I think my pouch is still swollen and tender from the surgery!
