Chaych 33 Posted October 1, 2013 Question I keep getting asked. . . ."Why are you doing bypass and not the sleeve?" I'd love to hear everyone else's answers. . .
Dee P 10 Posted October 1, 2013 My surgery is later this morning. I'm too excited to sleep. Or to anxious cant tell the difference now. My husband is a nervous wreck and will be till I get into recovery. I have to be at the hospital at 6 am. Guess I should try to sleep for a few minutes. Good luck to all. 2 angiep3880 and Chelle reacted to this

kkelly37 21 Posted October 1, 2013 Louisville Kentucky Lynn73. Who's doing your surgery?? I live in Clarksville but I'm having it done in louisville.
angiep3880 65 Posted October 1, 2013 I didn't go with the sleeve because it's too new and there's not enough data to back it up. Plus with the sleeve u can still eat basically whatever u want and I don't want that temptation. Not that I want the dumping but if it will keep me from eating bad stuff then so be it!! It's been around for a long time and my gut said to go that way and my surgeon confirmed it so that's what I'm stickin with. I should probably do more research but I'm overwhelmed as it is!!!!
