Pr1ncessJulee 116 Posted August 20, 2013 Walk, sip, walk, sip and repeat. Allow yourself to rest often. Don't hold the gas in...let it rip...and call your doc right away if you feel anything is not right Preop weight 389 current weight 327 lost to date 62lbs rny 6/11/13 2 liane and hrhdiana reacted to this
Princess Sarah 47 Posted August 20, 2013 I'm feeling so tired and the pain meds make me so sleepy. However I did walk this morning (the stomach wrap really helps support my stomach and make me feel more secure when walking) and am currently drinking my Protein.< /p>

Sarah, at first i could only walk a couple of yards at a time. Most of my walking was up and down my hallway of my little apartment. All of a sudden it seems i can walk a whole mile in like 30 mins. Try aging a, few steps each time, and try increasing the frequency. Trust me if i can do it at 44 yrs old,.and close to 400lbs,.with it 112° outside...YOU CAN DO IT TOO! Also, the more you walk the less pain you will feel therefore the less pain meds you will need, giving you more energy to walk, to feel better and so on and on and on. Princess Sarah 47 Posted August 21, 2013 Thanks PJ. The pain and uncomfortableness when trying to sleep is killing me . I'm a side sleep and I also have back problems so sleeping on my back is torture!
ponchik 77 Posted August 21, 2013 You can prop a pillow under your belly and try to sleep on the side. I was doing that first and then, sleeping on my stomach within 5 days postop.
