Newbie band to bypass! questions...

Im approved and scheduled but I'm scheduled way out in December.

How is recovery? I scheduled so far out because it work full time and I'm in school finishing my masters this year. I can move my date up but I'm afraid of losing ground in classes.

Preop diet? I didn't have one with the band but it's requires for bypass.

I'm so excited! I can't wait to get this thing out of my body and eat real food again!

Recovery was much more painful for me, and the pain lasted about a week and a half. With all that you have going on I think you are smart to push it back until you will have adequate time to recover. I am a nurse and could have gone back after 3 weeks, but went back after 4 because I was still more fatigued than normal.
