music1618 879 Posted August 11, 2013 Yes it was manageable. The pain was really the rubbing of my pants on the incisions and that was fixed with better band aids. However I will say that I am an old pro with surgeries. The gastric bypass was my 11 surgery in my life and I am 33. This was easy compared to other surgeries for me - for example shoulder surgery I was out much longer due to pain.
