Geminitraveler 2 Posted September 9, 2013 I had my RNY surgery 9/5 and the gas seems to be the worst of it. I am walking a lot but will try the heating pad and maybe gas x later. Thanks for the advice postings.
ponchik 77 Posted September 9, 2013 This too shall pass . The gas pains are horrible, but it will be better every day. You're right with walking, the more you walk the more gas will be gone... I know how bad it is, trust me; I was in pain to the point I was crying and asking myself what I put myself through... It got better... Warm pack will help, but be careful with putting it on incisions... I was warming my lower back a lot good luck!!
ArmyOfMe 82 Posted September 10, 2013 sublingual Gas-X was my best friend after surgery. I took them as needed. Pills/chewables are less effective compared.
