Crkrjax76 76 Posted July 31, 2013 My surgeon says no ice for at least 6 months after surgery??? What am I going to do without ice??? I forgot to ask why last week at my appt. I feel silly calling and bothering them to ask that. Does anyone know why? 1 Cici22 reacted to this

Jacqueline K 93 Posted July 31, 2013 They were bringing me ice chips in the hospital right after surgery! This must just be something your surgeon does. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
Jeepchick42 193 Posted July 31, 2013 I never heard of such a thing. I lived off of sugar free Popsicles for a few days after surgery and there's no difference between those and ice. Strange. 1 BBdoodle reacted to this
PittGuy 201 Posted July 31, 2013 Very interesting. They had ice chips for me as soon as I got from post-op to my room. I would just ask doc why he does not allow. It would help me knowing why he has me doing different things.
