Tummy Tuck costs in San Diego or nearby???

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I haven't posted for awhile but hae been banded since 9/05, I went from 226 lbs to 145 lbs and am in need of a TT.

One dr, quoted me $13,500. I can't afford that! Does anyone know of a trusted surgeon who can do it for less?

Thanks in advanvce.

Darla,

I had a full body lift in December from Dr Soberanes in TJ,Mexico. His charge was $9000.00.I'm pretty sure a Tummy Tuck alone is alot cheaper than that and he does an awesome job.I met ALOT of people that have went to him and are VERY satisfied with his work. His website is www.drsergiosoberanes.com. His phone number is

1(619)270-2138

that's a bit much for a Tummy Tuck, even here in the states, from what I've read. There are a number of centers in Mexico that are highly recommended. There are centers in Costa Rica that will take care of you for the month after your surgery (if you can take the time off, obviously), though I don't know the cost for that.

I had a full Tummy Tuck and Lipo with touch ups in CA, in San Bernardino for $4000 cash. He is an awesome surgeon and my scar is awesome. I have even had comments from doctors who have done my pap smears and physicals as to who did it because they did a great job.

His name is Dr. Jesse Mitchell at beautifulreflections.com

His office manager, who helped me is Marissa. Just tell her Audree Vasallo referred you and I had my surgury like 3 years ago.

Hi tztmama,

If you want to have an affordable price for Tummy Tuck, the best alternative is to go outside the US. If you live in San Diego you can go to Mexico. In Mexico a tummy tuck would cost you around 3800 US$ - 4000US$ with an excellent doctor.

Or you can go to SOuth America, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Argentina.

I had my tummy tuck done in Bolivia and I paid 2600US$. The results are amazing. If you go abroad I highly recommend you to go through a Medical Tourism agency. Choose a doctor via internet is "risky". In Bolivia I recommend you two very serious companies that are MakeoverTravel and SensualBodyDream. There prices are very similar and the doctor they work with are excellent.

That's the advantage in south America, you can have your plastic surgery with the best surgeons for a fraction of the cost in the US.

if in the US you want to pay a cheap price for your surgery (something like 3500US), you have to do it with a no renowned surgeon and in a very bad clinic or hospital. In south america for this price you can have your surgery with the best of the best surgeon.

:(

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
