Hi!! Anyone buy any cookbooks specific for weight loss surgery? If you did what did you get?

At my support group they were selling "the Incredible Shrinking Cookbook" - i bought it last month- havent used it much.

Mostly i have been planning to freeze tiny 1-2 ounce ground turkey patties. Using Prudhomme's Poultry Magic Seasoning and frying it up. I am still preop. It doesnt sound like i will have an appetite postop- probably wont need recipes for 6 months?

If you have kindle or kindle app on your tablet/phone, search Amazon kindle store, there is a lot to chose from and they are mostly below $10.

I didn't but I love cooking but I usually either eat a smaller amount of what I cook or I make something completely different. Stem fish with vegetables. Or salad or anything with salad.

I have a big Splenda cookbook that i love. costco had it a couple years ago.

I got eating well after weight loss surgery. I haven't made anything from it though. Since surgery I had to deal with a stricture. Even now that my stricture is fixed I just hardly eat anything. There just doesn't seem to be much reason to make anything elaborate. Like tonight I had 2 Morningstar chicken nuggets and that was all.
