has anyone had to take off their jewelry for surgery?

Yep, no jewelry of any kind.

And I even had to remove my acrylic nails when I had my gallbladder out.

Yes ma'am, no wedding bands. Would actually recommend you leave it at home for the duration so there's no worry of it getting lost or stolen.

omg I think I'm gonna cry!!! Thank goodness I don't wear my tongue ring, nose ring, or ear rings anymore! But my wedding rings. yikes!!!!!!
