pookybear 284 Posted July 26, 2013 I was told after 2 weeks I could do the treadmill only. After a month I could start weights and pretty much anything else.
sweetohiohoney 5 Posted July 28, 2013 Is there any exercise that RNY makes risky? I.e. crunches? I began working out at 2 weeks. The doctor said no abdominal exercises for 2 months. I'm allowed to do anything else I can tolerate as long as I limit weights to 25 lbs. At 2 months I can resume my regular workout with no restrictions. heather200202 73 Posted July 28, 2013 Is there any exercise that RNY makes risky? I.e. crunches? Talk to your doctor. I was only allowed walking till I was 6 weeks post op then I could do what I wanted in moderation.
