Carolina 1 Posted July 25, 2013 So I've read through this entire forum and searched all over the web and can't find much info. But...I think may have actually been pregnant during my RNY. They did a test the day of the surgery that was negative. We had sex 3 days before my surgery so I'm wondering if maybe it was too soon to show positive the day of surgery. All the symptoms I've been having: nausea, smells, etc have been explained as normal rny healing process. I will be going to doc ASAP but until then does anybody have any experience with something like this???
SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted July 25, 2013 It's possible. At three days you'd be way too early to test positive. Guess your best way to know would be a pregnancy test. I did have nausea, fatigue, horrible smell aversions for 2 months post op though so I understand whomever told you it was part of the healing process! Good luck!!! TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted July 25, 2013 No but I felt sorta horrible if I didn't tight my tubes would think I was preggo my self. Everything bothers you after WLS then you adjust to it. Good luck & keep us posted
Carolina 1 Posted July 25, 2013 I took a test and it was positive. I'm just not really believing it since I tested negative on surgery day.
TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted July 25, 2013 I took a test and it was positive. I'm just not really believing it since I tested negative on surgery day. The only way to be sure is to go to the doctor & take a blood pregnancy test.
