Yep, I was also borderline diabetic when I had my surgery, and I was only 20 when I got that diagnosis. It's terrifying, but after surgery, the 2 week post op appointment my sugar was 100% normal. Along with my blood pressure, this surgery is a blessing in more ways than just weight loss.
