Crkrjax76 76 Posted July 23, 2013 In exactly two weeks to the hour, my life will change!!! I'm getting so nervous and excited and scared and happy and sad and crazy all at the same time. Anybody else feel that way??? I meet with the surgeon tomorrow and will start my 2 week liquid diet in the morning. I've got all my questions ready for him, I think...I'm going to ask about my cpap machine, gas x strips, visitors age (I have a 6 year old who will be devestated if he can't come see mom), what meds I need to bring to the hospital, do they expect someone to stay with me overnight...anything else I should be asking? 1 tlynn4love reacted to this
CrisG 70 Posted July 23, 2013 I still don't feel like its real!! I started my liquid diet Sunday. I have a 5 yr old. I didn't think to ask. She would be upset if she couldn't!
life_after_gastric_bypass 214 Posted July 23, 2013 I have 3 kids, my youngest is 3 they let all of the kids visit but of course my 3 year old wasn't able to be in the room (although they snuck him in..for a few minutes to let me know they were there, and I just walked over to the visiting room:) and finished my visit. (also when I went to my surgery, I didn't bring my cpap, and now I no longer use it congrats to you guys and wishing you all the best!!
jerz 251 Posted July 23, 2013 I wish I had bought my cpap because the one I used at the hospital was so uncomfortable. Mine has a ramp feature which starts off low at four and gradually goes up to 16. The hospital one started off full blast and was leaking air. It was horrible.
