amelo 5 Posted July 23, 2013 I am also 7 days post opt and I been craving and wanting to eat everything I see and I am so moody but I know Nd won't dare to put nothing else other than broth Jello tea n it sick so much I can't wait till Thursday when I go n see my surgeon to see if she advances me to purée foods at least there is some variety of foods there , it gets boring n disgusting eating same thing all day everyday ughh (the good thing is that when I come to this group and I start reading I feel better :-) and that makes me happy ) ( also I been feeling tired and tired but I drink all my meds and idk why I feel so drained out even when I go out for walks)
roke 1 Posted July 23, 2013 So I tried to relate a similar concern in another thread...I get hungry and don't get 'full'. I'm 8 days out and allowed to eat yogurt. I can eat about a half a cup (4 oz. is most I'm willing to try at this point). Does anyone know if we really will feel 'full' when we get to more/solid foods? mamafine23 101 Posted July 23, 2013 I didn't feel full but I would just stop so I wouldn't get sick since I had no idea how my body would react ....Popsicles and injury Protein in my drinks was my savior
roke 1 Posted July 24, 2013 Do you (or any 'long termer') get full after the initial phase?

And I feel like I am doing a dance just waiting, like you do when you have to pee. lol I am just so happy that I am not the only one who is struggling with this, so I know that I dont just have a weak sence of will. nicolebishop91 25 Posted July 24, 2013 I have found that when I feel hugry I will drink my shakes or broth what ever it is at the time, I drink slowly. a drink every few minutes. Once I no longer feel hungry I stop. That seems to be working for me. I sip my Water all day. I very rarely set it down so I don't forget to keep drinking.
