Mrsleahhs 2 Posted July 22, 2013 I have 3 beautiful teenage daughters and a handsome husband. I am a little nervous about my scheduled surgery on August 9, 2013 for the RNY. I began this journey in January 2013. My first weigh in was 285 lbs. I actually got approved faster than I thought. I thought it was at least a 12 month process. On May, 9, 2013 I had my gall bladder surgery. Really thought after that it would still be pushed back. BCBS Texas moved fast on this. My last weigh in was June 19, 2013 and I weigh in at 260 don't want to know my current weight until I go for pre op. I have a concern for the liquid diet. What are some of the things that I can drink for that. I know I have to get the Protein. I can't do Greek yogurt I tried it, it was nasty did not like the texture of in while eating. Any suggestions

music1618 879 Posted July 22, 2013 Congrats and good luck on the upcoming surgery!! As for your question I would really ask you doc or nut. You will soon figure out that all docs have different plans and restrictions. For my liquid diet I drank lactose free milk with carnation instant Breakfast.< /p>
